Your privacy is important to us. Sir Reports is committed to protecting your personal information and being transparent about what data we collect.
1. Information We Collect
- Instagram data (on your device only): When you log in with Instagram, the app reads your followers and following lists to perform the analysis. This data and your Instagram session cookies are stored only on your device (session cookies are encrypted with the iOS Keychain / Android encrypted storage). We never receive your Instagram password.
- Usage events: app opens, screen views, scan started/completed (counts only), unfollow actions (counts only), premium screen views and purchases.
- Device information: device model, OS version, app version, country and language.
- Identifiers: an app instance ID; your numeric Instagram account ID as a pseudonymous user ID; and the advertising identifier (on iOS only if you allow tracking, on Android the Google advertising ID).
2. How We Use Your Information
- Analyze your Instagram followers and following data
- Identify users who don't follow you back
- Provide profile viewer analytics (estimated data)
- Process your premium subscription
- Understand app usage and fix problems
- Measure and optimize our advertising on Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google
3. Data Storage
Your Instagram credentials and follower lists are processed and stored only on your device and are never uploaded to our servers. Usage events are processed by Google Firebase Analytics and Meta according to their retention settings. Subscription information is managed through Apple App Store, Google Play and RevenueCat.
4. Third-Party Services
- Google Firebase Analytics: usage analytics and Google Ads conversion measurement (privacy policy)
- Meta (Facebook) SDK / App Events: advertising measurement for Meta ads (privacy policy)
- RevenueCat: subscription management (privacy policy)
- Apple App Store / Google Play: payment processing
- Instagram web (Meta): sign-in and data retrieval through an in-app web view
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Usage events and identifiers described above are shared with Google and Meta solely for analytics and advertising measurement.
6. Tracking and Your Choices
- iOS: we ask for permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, your advertising identifier is not shared and only aggregated, privacy-preserving measurement (SKAdNetwork) is used. You can change this in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- Android: you can opt out of personalized ads and reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings > Google > Ads.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Delete all on-device data via "Clear All Data" in the app, or by uninstalling the app
- Opt out of tracking as described above
- Disconnect your Instagram account at any time
8. Children's Privacy
Our app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page.
